Sometimes you need a powerful laptop that you know is going to handle the most demanding applications and user requirements. This is when the Intel i7 processors come handy. They are particularly effective when you wish to perform multiple tasks and maintain speed on your laptop. You will only find i7 processors on high quality, top end desktops and laptops so you can rest assured that any product that has one will be in this category. There would be little point installing one in a low spec machine. Here are five of the best i7 laptops of 2015.
1. Apple MacBook Pro
The Apple Macbook Pro is certainly high quality with the ‘tried and tested’ Apple styling that remains essentially unchanged from recent, previous models. The Macbook Pro has amazing graphics and provides great performance for the user. Apple products are known for being expensive so a nice added bonus is that the price of the latest Macbook Pro is lower compared to previous models. However, it could still be considered expensive compared to other products of a similar specification. The battery life is unmatched by pretty much any other laptop on the market. Apple has stuck to what it knows works and is most probably the best i7 laptop ever!

2. ASUS Zenbook UX303LN-DB71T
The ASUS Zenbook UX303LN-DB71T has a beautiful design that is sleek and compact. This is not the lightest of laptops but is not remarkably heavy. The keyboard and mouse pad are good quality and easy to use. This Zenbook has a mid-range graphics card that is perfectly adequate for most users. The screen is not massive and this may be a consideration if you are doing a lot of administrative work. You also need to use a USB adapter in order to make an Ethernet connection. This is increasingly the case in the newest laptops where wi-fi is considered normal.

3. Samsung ATIV Book 9
The Samsung ATIV Book 9 is certainly one of the most popular and best i7 laptops. It is manufactured with an aluminium design which gives it a robust, high quality feel. Other than that, it is very thin particularly when you consider the performance it delivers. It is a reasonable weight adding to the feeling of sturdiness. The non-reflective screen is appealing to those who work in a variety of environments. Some users may struggle with the lack of mouse buttons on the track pad and the display, whilst reasonable, is not high resolution. The Samsung ATIV Book 9 is a great laptop but this comes at a price and there are less costly alternatives.

4. HP ENVY 15t
The HP ENVY 15t is an attractive i7 laptop with the added benefit of being feature rich. Not only an i7 laptop but a touch screen one which can also be converted into a tablet. However, squeezing so much functionality does come at a price with this laptop and this can be seen in terms of both graphics and battery life. The graphics capabilities of the ENVY 15t mean that the display is adequate and the screen itself has a pretty narrow viewing angle range. It also does not have the longest battery life but is a good laptop overall.

5. Lenovo ThinkPad T440s
The Lenovo ThinkPad T440s is an excellent machine with few ‘cons’ and lots of ‘pros’. This ThinkPad has a high resolution screen and improved brightness and contrast that blighted previous models. This machine is very quiet when in usage and does not seem to overheat when used for long periods of time. The Lenovo ThinkPad T440s has a very good battery life of reportedly up to 6 hours on mundane tasks such as web surfing and checking emails. The touchpad can take a little getting used to and is sometimes not as responsive as you may like it to be. Overall, you’ll love it if performance is all you want since it’s undoubtedly among the best i7 laptops of 2015.
