What to expect from the best high-end laptops?
Don’t worry about performance or quality, it’s standard here. When you get a high-end notebook, you will surely get a vivid display and a premium-looking casing.
But there are still a few questions you need to ask yourself.
Do you need a high-end laptop?
That is a fair question! Maybe you don’t need to pay that much for a laptop. Most people will be plenty satisfied with a mid-range laptop.
But if looks, quality and performance are essential to you, then surely go with a high-end laptop!
12, 13, 14 or 15-inch?
You have the choice between a larger screen and more portability. I’d say that if you’re into graphic design, CAD drawing or movie editing, go with a 15-inch laptop. The extra screen space will make it easier to work in programs like Adobe CS and AutoCAD. Otherwise, go with a 13-inch or 14-inch laptop, you’ll appreciate the portability and longer battery life. And if you are always carrying your laptop around, look into the high-end 12-inch notebooks. They are incredibly light and tiny!
Into design, movie editing or gaming? Get a graphics card.
If you are into 3D, design, movie editing or like playing games, make sure you choose a laptop with a dedicated graphics card (NVIDIA or Intel Iris). It’s absolutely necessary for anything 3D.
For any other usage, you don’t need a dedicated graphics card.
