This notebook is another good all-purpose laptop that can handle the needs of the office or home. It does run Windows 8 as an operating system, though. This model comes with a 15.6 in screen with 1366 x 768 resolution and an aspect ratio of 16:9. It uses a Intel i3 dual core processor, which allows it to run multiple tasks, even though at a much slower speed than other processors. It does have a writable, optical drive. It can play DVDs but not BluRay. This laptop only has 6GB of memory with the option of upgrading to 8GB. It uses a 500 GB hard drive. The laptop has two USB ports: 1 3.0 and 1. 2.0. As for graphics, the D550CA-BH31 uses the Intel HD Graphics 4400. One drawback to this laptop is no Bluetooth capabilities. It weights 5 lbs. it’s priced at $430. If you’re wanting a good all-purpose laptop and are not in need of Bluetooth capabilities, then the D550CA-BH31 will be right for you. It’s good for everyday use such as searching the internet, watching YouTube, or playing flash game apps.
