The Lenovo G50-80 utilizes an Intel i5 dual core processor. It will run programs like Photoshop easily. It has 6 GB of memory. You can upgrade the memory up to 16 GB, but for personal use, 6 GB is sufficient. As for storage, it offers 500 GB. This model comes with the typical 15.6 in. screen, 3 USB ports, HDMI, wireless LAN, and Bluetooth 4.0. It also comes with a SD card reader. It operates Windows 8.1. Graphics are handled by Intel HD 5500, which are integrated into the i5 dual processors. If you’re into gaming, you can play most titles at lower settings. The resolution will be of a lesser grade, but you will still be able to play. The onboard webcam is VGA in resolution, but will still make video communication operational. One of the perks, other than the price, for this laptop is its weight. It weighs only 4.62 lbs and unfortunately, one of the drawbacks it its batter life of between 3-4 hours. With that being said, if you’re looking to use this laptop at home, the lower battery life will not be an issue. It will definitely not detract from the price of $430.
