You can choose between the Pentium dual-core or the i3, both of which are duo core. You can also choose between AMD Graphics or Intel Graphics. Unlike the C55D, that is the only options to choose from. Everything else comes standard on the G500 like 4GB memory, 500 GB of storage, 3 USB ports, HDMI, 15.6 in screen with a 16:9 ratio, Ethernet, wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and onboard webcam. The G500 comes in black and weighs 5.7 lbs. Prices range from $420 to $490 depending on options selected. Overall, the G500 is a sturdy machine that is good for basic home/ business operations. A drawback for this laptop is Windows 8, but you can always upgrade to 8.1 after purchase.
